This is usually the first experience that a child has with the boys scouts organization. It is important to have lots of fun and parent involvement. The Tiger Cub attends all meetings as a team with his adult partner.

The Tiger trail

The boys begin the path towards becoming a tiger cub by learning the tiger basis and earning the tiger cub belt totem. 

After earning the totem, the kids begin working on completing their achievements. During this process, they will encounter lots of fun, socialization, and active parent involvement.

After completing all achievements required for the Tiger Cub Rank Badge, the Tiger Cub can be awarded tiger track beads, which are yellow disks attached to the Totem.  One bead is awarded for each group of ten electives the Tiger Cub completes.
