Notes from the District Camping Committee
Located near Covington, Georgia, Bert Adams is designed to provide services to a variety of the Council's membership. For Cub Scouts, Bert Adams offers Cub World, 500 acres devoted to Cub Scouting Activities and Events. For Boy Scouts and Venturers, Bert Adams offers a high adventure COPE course and three weeks of summer camping. As a total, Bert Adams Scout Reservation covers 1250 acres devoted to Scouting in the Atlanta Area. Located near Blairsville, Georgia, Woodruff is the Council's most visited summer camp. Covering 1575 acres in the North Georgia mountains, Woodruff offers boating, skiing, mountain man, rifle shooting, archery and whitewater rafting. |
